Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: 1 August 2026
You can delete the data Zesyl holds about you at any time, in three ways: delete your whole account from inside Zesyl, disconnect an individual social platform, or send us a deletion request by email. Every method is described below, and all deletion requests are completed within 30 days.
1. Delete your Zesyl account (deletes everything)
To permanently delete your account and all associated data:
- Sign in to Zesyl.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Select Delete account and confirm.
This removes your profile, all connected social media accounts and their access tokens, and all content stored in Zesyl (drafts, scheduled posts, uploaded media, and AI-generated content) within 30 days. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
2. Disconnect a single platform
If you only want to remove one connected social account (for example, just your Facebook Page) while keeping your Zesyl account:
- Sign in to Zesyl.
- Go to Settings → Connections.
- Select Disconnect next to the platform you want to remove.
Disconnecting immediately revokes and deletes the access tokens for that platform along with the associated page or profile data we hold. Scheduled posts targeting that platform are cancelled.
3. Request deletion by email
You can also request deletion without signing in — for example if you no longer have access to your account:
- Email privacy@zesyl.com from the email address registered to your Zesyl account.
- Use the subject line “Data deletion request”.
- Tell us whether you want your entire account deleted or only specific platform connections removed.
We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days, then send you a final confirmation once it is done.
4. Revoke Zesyl’s access from the platform itself
Independently of Zesyl, you can revoke our access from inside each social platform’s own settings. This immediately invalidates the access token that platform issued to Zesyl:
- Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations → remove Zesyl.
- Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → remove Zesyl.
- TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services → remove Zesyl.
- X: Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps → revoke Zesyl.
- LinkedIn: Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Other applications → Permitted services → remove Zesyl.
- Pinterest: Settings → Security → Connected apps → revoke Zesyl.
After revoking access on the platform side, we recommend also disconnecting the platform inside Zesyl (or emailing us) so the remaining connection metadata is deleted too.
5. Questions
If anything here is unclear, or you want to confirm what data we hold before deleting it, email privacy@zesyl.com or see our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and how long we keep it.
